Fabian “Dee” Dammers is a German guitarist and songwriter, best known as the guitarist for Udo Dirkschneider’s U.D.O. and DIRKSCHNEIDER. Since joining the band in 2018, Dee has toured extensively across the USA, South America, Russia, Japan, Australia and Europe, continuing to perform with the band to this day.

His work as both a guitarist and songwriter can be heard on U.D.O.’s albums We Are One (2020), Game Over (2021) and Touchdown (2023), as well as the live album and DVD Live in Plovdiv (2021).

Dee contributed guitar solos to Udo Dirkschneider‘s first solo album, My Way (2022), including the tracks “We Will Rock You” and “Kein Zurück.” In 2025, the first DIRKSCHNEIDER studio album, Balls to the Wall Reloaded, was released, featuring Dee’s guitar work alongside guest appearances from metal legends including Dee Snider of Twisted Sister.

Dee has also performed in musical productions, including Rock of Ages, The Rocky Horror Picture Show, Abenteuerland and Flashdance.

As a solo artist, Dee released his debut album Bubbly Joyride to Utopia in 2020. The instrumental concept album combines a wide range of influences, from rock and country to fusion and blues. German guitar magazine Gitarre & Bass named Bubbly Joyride to Utopia Album of the Month in May 2020 and wrote:
“The musical ideas, sounds, compositions, arrangements and production are absolutely world class. When was the last time I was so impressed by a Vai or Satriani album?”

In 2026 Dee released his second solo album, Beyond the Shadows. Once again, Gitarre & Bass selected the album as Album of the Month in July 2026, writing:
“Six years ago, on the occasion of Dammers’ debut, we asked ourselves: When was the last time we were so impressed by a Satriani or Vai album? Now the question can be expanded: When was the last time a guitar album in general impressed us this much?”
